InfuseSA in the Community: Southtown Pizzeria

Excitement is brewing in the kitchen at Southtown Pizzeria!

Owned by Restaurant owner Anna Rodriguez, Southtown is taking off on all social media platforms. With its delicious, savory Italian pasta dishes, to its mouth-watering, crispy pizzas, Southtown puts all the perfect ingredients in, making sure every guest leaves satisfied and fulfilled. Anna has owned this beautiful Italian-themed restaurant for four years now, and says it was the best decision she’s ever made.

“I have always had a passion for cooking delicious meals and bringing my kids and my family together. So, when I saw this restaurant, I knew I wanted this for my children. For my grandchildren,” she says. 

Anna is never afraid to pull up her sleeves and work alongside her children, Jonathan, Alejandro, and Eduardo.  They also help run it. Jonathan has over 20 years of experience in both electrical and leading large scale construction projects, Eduardo has spent more than 10 years in construction and management, and Alejandro has over 10 years of electrical and customer service experience.

Together they can tackle anything.

Miss Anna later reached out to daughter-in-law Madison Gutierrez to help run marketing and take over as event coordinator. Madison Gutierrez recently ran for City Council right here in San Antonio. While she didn’t raise the votes she needed, that never stopped her passion for helping her community. Madison has since then helped hundreds of small businesses.

She has partnered with Women Unlimited!, an empowerment group here in San Antonio, by sponsoring all their vendor fees. They pay absolutely nothing and can set up at this beautiful restaurant. Madison, who plans to run for city council again in 2025, Jonathan and their four beautiful children spend time at the restaurant together helping out.
